This position will work in partnership with the Healthy Campus Alberta Operations Coordinator to engage post-secondary stakeholders in Alberta around the collective priority of student mental health while supporting the development of a dynamic and engaging community of practice. The purpose of this position is two-fold. First, to build relationships with all post-secondary campuses in Alberta and other stakeholders interested and involved in Healthy Campus Alberta, Alberta’s post-secondary mental health and addiction community of practice. Second is to enhance the understanding and practice related to post-secondary mental health and addiction by disseminating information related to best practice and creating spaces for conversation related to implementing evidence-informed mental health promotion programs, policies, and practices. As part of this strategy, the Healthy Campus Alberta Knowledge and Relationship Coordinator will work with key partners to establish a collaborative practice model for mental health and wellness promotion at Alberta post-secondary institutions.
The position is 0.5 funded through UCalgary with the potential for additional hours funded through the Healthy Campus Alberta Advanced Education Grant under CMHA-AB.
