Conclusion

Collectively, ASEC schools have built an innovation program through ACMHI that has changed provincial policy, shifted views on success to make them more robust and systemic (such as a focus on prevention, stigma, and wellness), and contributed as key drivers towards a provincial strategy for post-secondary mental health.

Continue to build on this momentum to find the flywheel for collective work supported by member institutions, student leaders, ASEC board and staff members, and with your current and new partners.

While ACMHI may evolve over time, ASEC members can be catalysts to ensure that mentally healthy campuses continue to grow in Alberta.
