This panel webinar will give international students the opportunity to discuss, explore and share their lived experiences as international students and immigrants to Canada. Students will explore challenges and complexities navigating campus life and Canadian environments, as well as share insights, opportunities, and what resources have helped them navigate campus and Canadian culture. The discussion will then lead to breakout rooms, where participants can share how they have supported international students on campus and what resources they used to help them.

Key Objectives:

  • Explore the nuances and experiences international students face both on campus and in life as a newcomer to Canada.
  • Have an intercultural exchange of ideas, viewpoints and personal experiences.
  • Share resources that have helped international students succeed, adapt and adjust to their life here in Canada and on campus.
