A suicide prevention strategy or framework can be one part of a whole-campus, systemic approach to promoting mental health and well-being. This webinar will review the process of developing and implementing a campus suicide prevention framework, getting buy-in from campus stakeholders, and integrating the framework into whole-campus strategies. Join us for a series of presentations and a panel discussion with representatives from Alberta campuses who have developed and implemented a suicide prevention framework. Community resources to assist you in your campus context will also be discussed.

By the end of this webinar, you will be able to…

  • Articulate the process of developing and implementing a suicide prevention framework on a postsecondary campus
  • Describe the key components of the suicide prevention frameworks available on Alberta campus examples
  • Integrate learnings within your current work on your campus community
  • Identify and navigate resources for suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention
