The 2024 HCA Wellness Summit took place in person over 2 days, June 13 & 14 2024 at the University of Alberta in Edmonton.
The theme of this year’s Summit was “Introspection: Looking Back to Look Forward”. Over two unforgettable days, attendees participated in collaborative activities and attended thought-provoking presentations, leaving with a renewed vision for the future of Healthy Campus Alberta and wellness within their own campuses.

This year’s Summit started with an HCA-led session where the community helped reimagine the vision and future of HCA and the engagement of the Community of Practice. The 3 concurrent sessions centered on themes of Navigating Change in an Evolving Community, Finding Balance Through Self-Regulation and Supporting Wellness Through Meaningful Relationships. A new collaboration session connecting members with similar roles on campus and in the community was engaging, informative and impactful.
The event also featured an esteemed return keynote presenter to HCA, Kari Grain, who spoke on Visualizing a Landscape of Critical Wellness in Alberta Post Secondaries.
