What is peer support? How can peer support contribute to mental health on our campuses and in our communities? As peer support programming becomes increasingly relevant in our campus contexts, there is an opportunity to collectively understand local journeys towards effective, evidence-based peer support. Join us for an interactive webinar featuring presenters who will share about the development of the campus peer support pilot project at Medicine Hat College. As an attendee, you will be able to participate in facilitated collaborative problem-solving, whether you are just starting to learn about campus peer support or if you are directly involved in peer support on your campus.

Throughout the webinar, attendees will be able to…

  • Articulate the context of the national peer support project and the Medicine Hat College pilot;
  • Define campus peer support and its role on campuses and in the community;
  • Co-create approaches and solutions to campus peer support with HCA community members
