Join Barb Sheldon as she shares her collaborative work with Bow Valley College, the University of Calgary’s Food Hub and NourishU at Mount Royal University to deliver practical, budget-friendly skills-based cooking and food literacy classes for students. 

This webinar will explore how hands-on food skills education can complement food access programs, build confidence, reduce stigma, and foster community. In recognition of Nutrition Month, we will examine how cross-campus partnerships can move beyond emergency responses toward sustainable, skill-based approaches that strengthen student well-being and food security.
