Join the HCA community at this workshop, developed and presented by Diana Tikasz, MSW, RSW.

Post-Traumatic Growth (PTG) is a term used is psychology to describe the phenomenon of positive change that people can experience in the wake of a negative experience or trauma. Signs that PTG has occurred include a greater appreciation for life, improved relationships, or a desire to seek out new experiences and possibilities. However, PTG is often misunderstood. When the concept is used incorrectly, it can lead to a subtle but harmful message of shame and blame when others do now cope well after a crisis. How can we foster PTG in a way that is supportive, authentic, and compassionate? This webinar will explore the components of PTG, how it intersects with resilience, and offer strategies to foster PTG – both from an individual and collective perspective.”

We invite you to explore resources on secondary trauma and empathic strain from TEND Academy before the webinar, as well as the graphic recording from Francios Mathieu’s (Executive Director, TEND) keynote at the 2021 HCA Wellness Summit.

Please note that you must register for this webinar through Zoom. A recording will be available to all registrants for 30 days following the webinar date.
